Advanced flame retardants:
Where safety meets sustainability
Intumescent Paint (IP) - Flame Retardants Additives
Overview
We redefine fire protection with Intumescent Paint (IP) Flame Retardant Products, engineered to safeguard structural integrity and save lives in critical fire scenarios. Our advanced coatings expand when exposed to heat, forming a protective insulating char layer that delays structural collapse, inhibits flame spread and complies with stringent standards
HOFNIL- 37A
(Intumescent FR for Polymers)
HOFNIL-37A is an Intumescent flame retardant known for its effectiveness and versatility across a range of applications. Intumescent FR for polymers combines Acid donor with charring & blowing agent. Some coatings and catalysts further enhances the thermal stability, water resistance, and overall performance of the flame retardant in various applications. It features extremely low water solubility, is completely insoluble in organic solvents, non-hygroscopic, non-flammable, and has improved powder flowability.
Key Advantages
Enhanced Flame Retardancy: Promotes the formation of a stable char layer during combustion.
Increased Thermal Stability: Higher decomposition temperature compared to uncoated APP based formulations.
Improved Water Resistance: Reduced solubility in water, making it suitable for humid environments.
Better Compatibility: Easier to incorporate into different formulations without adversely affecting the material properties.
Reduced Smoke and Toxicity: Lower smoke production and reduced toxicity of combustion products.
Non-hygroscopic: Does not absorb moisture from the environment, enhancing stability.
Non-flammable: Safe to handle and store without risk of ignition.
Shelf-life: 2 years from date of manufacturing.
Packing Size: 20Kg BOPP laminated bag with polythene liner.
